Spencer McDonald
President and Founder of Thinking Driver
Spencer has over 30 years’ experience in driver training curriculum and instructor development. Spencer’s formal education is in psychology and motivation and he has brought these fields together with road safety and education to develop the attitude-based Thinking Driver programs. He was retained in 1998 through 2001 by ICBC for the development of on-road license tests and for the implementation of Graduated Licensing in the province. During this time he designed training for all BC driving examiners in that jurisdiction to AAMVA standards. He is available for consultation and development, workshops and keynote speaking.
Sunny Jhaj
Chief Instructor, Academy Division Lead
Sunny Jhaj is a transportation industry specialist and an advanced driving instructional expert. Sunny developed and delivered programs in the driving school industry and served as a Driving Examiner for ICBC before he joined Thinking Driver. Now, Sunny is Chief Instructor in our Academy division offering programs and training for the new driver and drivers preparing to upgrade their licence. He also brings his expertise to the Fleet Safety and School Bus divisions.
